Dr. Poonam Sharma is a highly skilled and experienced professional with a passion for education and research. As a Cuemath Teacher Partner at CueMath, she firmly believes in the philosophy of "learning by doing" and incorporates it into her teaching of Mathematics and Coding skills to her students. Dr. Sharma has over 14 years of relevant experience in the field of Electronics and Communication Engineering. She has previously worked as an Associate Professor at Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering and as a Senior Lecturer at The Oxford College of Engineering, Bangalore. Dr. Sharma holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Electronics Engineering from Jain Group of Institutions (JGI), Bangalore. She also holds a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) degree in VLSI Design and Embedded Systems from D.S.C.E, Bangalore, and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering from Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering and Management. Dr. Sharma has a strong technical background and is proficient in AWS, Java, dotNET, Research Scientist, Software Engineer, Spring Boot, Information Retrieval, NLP, MySQL, Spring, Microservices, RabbitMQ, ML, Flask, Postgres, Web, Image Processing, Python, Redis, Docker, and MongoDB. Dr. Sharma is passionate about building creative, analytical, and logical thinking skills in her students by making them understand the subject and not just memorize formulae. She helps her students comprehend the subject better by cueing them to arrive at the solutions, enabling them to develop their own method of solving even the most complex problems.
